REFUND POLICY

A legal disclaimer

At PowerUp Fitness Gym, we strive to provide the best fitness experience to our members. To ensure fairness and transparency, we have a strict No Refund Policy, along with a limited Membership Extension Policy under specific circumstances. We request all members to carefully read and understand our policy before purchasing any membership plan.

No Refund Policy

Once a membership has been purchased at PowerUp Fitness Gym, it is considered final, and no refunds will be issued under any circumstances. This policy applies to all membership types, including but not limited to monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, and annual memberships. Regardless of whether the member chooses to discontinue attending the gym, does not use the facilities, or has a change in personal circumstances, the membership fee will remain non-refundable.

 

The reason for this policy is that we allocate resources, facilities, and staff based on active memberships, and refunding memberships would disrupt our commitment to maintaining a high-quality gym environment for all members. By signing up, members acknowledge and agree to this No Refund Policy, and PowerUp Fitness Gym will not entertain refund requests for any reason.

Membership Extension Policy

While we do not offer refunds, we understand that unexpected situations may arise, preventing members from utilizing their membership for a certain period. Therefore, we offer a membership extension option in two specific cases:

1. Medical Emergencies: If a member is unable to attend the gym due to a serious illness, injury, or medical condition, they may apply for a membership extension. The member must provide a valid medical certificate or official documentation from a registered medical professional stating the nature of the condition and the recommended recovery period. Upon verification, the gym management may approve a membership extension for a duration equivalent to the recovery period mentioned in the medical certificate.

2. Extended Travel or Relocation: If a member has to leave town for an extended period due to work, education, or personal reasons, they may request a membership freeze or extension. In such cases, the member must submit valid proof of travel, such as flight tickets, official work-related documents, or a letter from an employer or educational institution. The extension will be granted for the period during which the member is unavailable, subject to approval by the gym management.

Request Procedure for Membership Extension

All extension requests must be formally submitted in writing either via email or directly at the gym’s front desk. Members must ensure they provide clear and valid supporting documentation along with their request. PowerUp Fitness Gym reserves the right to verify the authenticity of the documents and approve or deny the request based on the evidence provided. Extensions will be granted only in exceptional cases, and the final decision lies with the gym management.

Agreement to Policy

By purchasing a membership at PowerUp Fitness Gym, members acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to abide by this No Refund & Limited Membership Extension Policy. We encourage members to consider their commitment before signing up, as all sales are final.
